I generally fish that lake no shallower than 65-70ft its optimal there for some reason.We tried in about 50ft last time I was there for 2 hours and only marked one single fish moved out to 65ish and wham 2 fish iced within 20mins. Although I have caught them as shallow as 10ft.

Tremendous fish, one of the lesser known trout. You Canadians got it made in the shade as far as fishing is concerned. Epic scenery too.

They have been strictly release in Alberta since 1995 I believe, the population is making a steady comeback. They are still AMAZINGLY fun to catch, that Lake has a solid 5-6lbs average on the Bulls with it putting out one solid 10+lbs each outing when we go out.
