Thank you. :) I’m happy to receive coments.
Kettle is a tool inherent to the stove, and we use it to make coffee and green tea etc.
Pic is my shelters. I may have posted it on other topics.
Japanese style shelter is like an umbrella, opens with one action and is short. That's exactly the right height as we usually set a toga on the ground or a very low chair and do fishing. It can be used for over 10 years.

I went to Hibara Lake for setting a auger carrier and a fish finder on my sled.
As Garmin’s echomap plus 45cv has a map, it is convenient to go to the fishing point.

Snowmobile is not good for the environment, but my lake is wide so it's a convenient ride.
Pic is nice. A fun atmosphere is transmitted.

Niru-san, I am not familiar with the auger you showed. Can you describe it?

It's auger with drill driver. In Japan this system is popular. The bar that passes through auger is sold separately.

Great Lakes, a place where ice fishing was done in a ice shanty for over 100 years ago, walleye fishing, harpoon fishing of northern pike, steelhead and king salmon fishing in open water season.
Amazing place, it is my yearning.

Yes, I did. :) “Yamame” is very beautiful and tasty fish, and oceanic type ”Sakuramasu”= cherry salmon is big fish. In Toyama-pref, its sushi is a specialty food. I tried it as kokanee, it was also delicious. Pic is sushi of kokanee.

I'm sorry. Because I am borrowing the power of translation software, there may be times when I can not understand the exact meaning.
This area is National Park, so hunting is prohibited. In my prefecture, the animals that are usually hunted are wild boar, black bear, duck, pheasant, deer, rabbit. The hunting season is from November 15th to February 15th. Unfortunately, animals in the eastern region still have radioactivity effects (cesium) left and can not be eaten.

I drove out to lake Arthur yesterday to see if the ice was safe yet . I guess it must be ! LOL ! Here are a few pictures . Sorry the pictures are fuzzy . It was snowing pretty hard when taking them .

Thank you for comments and pictures. :)
The thermal floor material prevents the floor from becoming flooded, so I like it.
I went to lake Arthur by google earth. It's a very beautiful place.
Fishing tournament, please do your best.

Niru, keep the pictures coming! Love your set up. What I'm interested in is your heater. I don't see a propane bottle so I am assuming that its battery powered?
On a side note, I spent 2.5 years in Japan while in the Navy. I was there from 91-93. I was stationed in Yokuska. Loved your country. Very beautiful country. Even hiked to the top of Mt Fuji and spent the night on top it. Never met a more polite curteous country of people. Would love to go back to visit.
Keep the pictures coming!

I am happy to receive posts from people involved in Japan.
I never forget that your Navy had helped us during the Great East Japan Earthquake. I'm really thankful to American people.
The stove of the picture is a type with 2 gas cylinders behind, it burns for about 10 hours.

Interesting pics.  Thanks for posting.  It was kind of neat to pics of how you guys fish in Japan.   I usually look a photos from other states and Canada just to get ideas on how people fish elsewhere and what they catch.  interesting.

I am referring to this site and referring to tools of ice fishing enthusiasts in North America.
Through this site, I was able to become friends with American anglers at FB.
I think that it is an amazing site. I am very envious because there is no such ice fishing portal site in Japan.

Curious to know what a Tundra LT is worth in Japan? I'm guessing its the 600 ACE motor?
