Saved the weekend...

800stealth:
After getting up at 300 yesterday morning and having trailer troubles a few miles in, I spent the day doing chores and sulking. Got up this morning to redeem myself and buzzed over to a crappie spot 15 minutes away that didn't need a wheeler. Brought out the old Shappell suitcase shanty, mainly because it fits in the back seat lol... Still fun to get back out there with it after probably 7 or 8 years. Started drilling holes at 430, was sending down the 1st shiner and a crappie took it from my hands before I could put the trap in. After that I got 5 traps in and started jigging, crappie and largemouth bite was steady on jig and traps. By 1100 my 3 dozen shiners were gone and I stayed jigging till around 100.
Brought home enough crappie for a couple meals and the rest went back for another day.
Every jigged fish came on the same pink tungsten tipped with a couple spikes, I tried other colors and nothing... This one was the only one they wanted.
