Any ideas around Rose Town

Does anyone know of any places to fish around rose town-  need to take a buddy out-of course theres deif, but any other small lakes or stocked ponds?  Checked out the stocking sheets and doesn't seem to be any nearby.  Any ideas?

Goose Lake is near there somewhere.  I think it's east of Rosetown about 25 min. drive.

I thought goose lake was just that- shallow goose slough, or am I wrong?

It could be.  I know it used to be a shallow lake.  Maybe it dried up.
