New to NWT
« on: Mar 20, 2014, 05:10 PM »
Hey Guys,

We moved up to Inuvik from Saskatchewan in September.  Been checking in on this forum every once in a while and it seems like a good group of people.  I've been out fishing in the delta and some other lakes to the north so far this winter.  We've caught coney, lakers, and burbot.  So far so good.  Just wondering if there's anyone else from Inuvik on the forum.

Hey luc, I think you and my gf work at the same place. I haven't been fishing much this year so far. A few of us are heading up to jimmy and maybe husky as well on sunday. Leaving 9am. Have you been fishing noell?

I'm stuck working... Fished a channel on the Aklavik road last week and snagged a few Conies.

Ya Eastbranch I think we do do work together.  Ya we've been to Noell a few times, pretty slow. I promised the fiancé that we would ride out to see the reindeer tomorrow but not leaving til 1, she's working nights. Maybe we'll see you on the trail later in the day. Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Not sure where the herd is but based on where i saw sleds last weekend, theyre probably east of jimmy lk. We are going to finish the day on jimmy lk for sure so youll probably find us.
