Got My First NJ Salmon!!!!

Happier than a pig in mud! After catching a s--t load of ice fishing trout over the the last 5 years at long last I got my first NJ salmon. Wished I had my camera with me, had to settle for a cell phone shot on m bud's phone. The fish was about 18" and made a great meal for my wife! I am envious of the States that have a large population of these great fish. In NJ I feel we will never reach critical mass on Salmon where it's a viable fishery as opposed to a lucky catch. I have been targeting and wishing for a Salmon for last few years now I can cross one fish off the bucket list!!!!
