The lakes are connected and have been for several years. The lake being referred to I believe is what they call little lake Lenore. That is not st brieux. It is the very south west part of lake Lenore.

dumped in little lake lenore.  There is small lake and big lake which are lake lenore lakes and st brieux is now conected but refered to as st brieux lake.  All lakes are now conected but usually are not except for the last 4 yrs.  They will be for quite some time yet unless they are drained down to normal levels which i can't see happening.

;D Whatever they have been doing to the lake I hope they keep it up, icing plenty of nice 2-5 lb. eyes and pikefrom 2-8 lbs. and a few nice perch up to 1 lb. Jig and minnow, buckshots, super small grub jig with a small minnow head seems to nail the biggest eyes and perch. I am not a fish eater, family says they taste good, keep the odd smaller fish, release the rest. Fish safe.

What lake have you been fishing sidescan?  I'll be out that way this weekend and hope to do a little fishing.  Any reports I've read on here so far have indicated that it has been slow.

I've done 6 trips to the little lake, seven on the Big Lake Lenore, walk on so far, no roads pushed on the west side yet, haven't checked little lake for a week maybe someone has plowed in. plenty of snow on edges, 10"-16" of snow out on the lake. 12-14 inches of ice last time out on the weekend. Fish safe.

It is not raw sewage but empting the the settling pond at the lagoon. There are plenty bodies of water where this happens in SK but I'd thought I'd let people know. If it's not mercury it's dirty poop water, salt water, cow poop or goose poop. What can a guy do I guess? When we net for white fish there are a lot of weird looking fish you see...humps, no tails, tumors, sists, etc...

Of the dozens of fish this season have yet to see any of those signs, maybe in the whitefish more perhaps. All we have been seeing are fat and clean and healthy looking. All my fish in the summer luckly by the sounds of that have been  healthy and fat. Fish safe.

You should see the Swift Current Creek when Swift Current lets the sewage go, not a very pretty site to witness.

My son was out on Lake Lenore on Monday. He caught and released 15 nice walleye and one pike about 8 lbs. He is going out again tomorrow so I will post if anyone is interested.

Where have you been fishing sidescan?   At the boat launch in little Lenore?? At lungs on the big lake?

Where was your son fishing old man by the sea?  I have lots of luck in the summer fishing Lenore infront of the launch at little Lenore. (Where everyone else fishes). But never seem to have any in winter

Planning on hitting up the big lake on Saturday. Does anyone know if the lake is accessible by truck at Lungs? Any recent reports from there? Thanks for any info!

Steve, not sure about Lungs and driving on, but was talking to a couple people that have been out at LL and St. Brieux and both reports are that things are really slow. A days fishing at Lenore landed one pike and a half day at Brieux was a skunk.

fished the frigid temps today on the big lake near lungs boat launch and ended up with a two man limit of walleyes a big perch and a small pike. 4x4 trucks only, once off the truck trail and good ice as well (15+ inches). couldnt let the cold hold me down any longer!

Fun day out there today. Good for walleye and the odd pike. My kids had a blast! Fish that were marked were anything from aggressive to sniffers. Some could be coyed into biting, but some couldn't. All in all, a great day to be outdoors!

Heading out in the morning. Never been to either of these lakes. How does a guy get on the lake? Coming from Hiway 312, thru Wakaw.

A bit slower out there today. Caught 6 walleye and 3 pike. All nice though (2-4 lbs). every fish that came in was aggressive today as all that were marked, were caught. Only problem was not enough were marked. Fished from 9:30-12:30.
Any word on St. Brieux? Any walleye or good perch coming out right now?

http://saskatchewan.kijiji.ca/c-community-events-Lake-Lenore-Lions-Club-Annual-Ice-Fishing-Derby-W0QQAdIdZ443426452

The point going onto the lake is Lungs, and the start point is Lake Lenore, if you are coming from Warman best way is to go into Saskatoon and come down to Lenore through Humboldt, should be an Hour and a half drive to the Town of Lake Lenore, then about another 20 km's on grid from Lenore.

Best of luck.
