Title: Taking kids fishing around Milan?
Post by: geofisherman on Jan 16, 2022, 06:48 PM
Traveling from Maine to visit in-laws in Milan next weekend. We started ice fishing last winter, so we haven’t fished in New Hampshire yet. I hope to take my daughter, niece and nephew out to chase flags one afternoon. I might also sneak away one morning with jig rod and flasher. My wife’s family lives near Cedar Pond. Is this a good place to take kids for action? Or is there a better option in that area? Also is there any place around Milan to get minnows?

Thanks for any advice.

Only one way to find out, get out there and give it a go. You can get bait at the village store

Gord's store on 110 in Milan have shiners Thursday thru the weekend until they sell out usually Sunday
They are closed Wednesday and that's when they get fresh bait
Alot of people fish cedar pond Jericho in Berlin has pike action recently....

I use to live in groveton and fished out that way a lot. Fish cedar pond for smelt or browns!
