My buddy caught this on Saturday night just after 8pm. 5+ pounds and 27+".

Just couldn't eat it......... Perfect upper lip hookset, no blood.  Plus our shack rule is not to keep any fish over 2.5 lbs, unless it's bleeding real bad.  I'd rathar have this girl spawn for at least another year, or at least know she's still in the water come derby time on Feb 9.  An eye this size should tale a top 3 spot in any derby on this lake.

Mouth was watering when I watched it go back down the hole.............. oh well.

I like the shack rule. Ours is nothing over 18" as we never carry a scale.

  Tell Ox i said nice fish. We through one back 28" this year as well, it's nice to throw them big ones back to spawn, i'm shure he'll make it to Innisville. A lot of big eyes caught on the Miss this year, keep up the good work.
