Drove up the whole lake this afternoon,  and all iced over. There were 2 people out of the park on the main lake, not very far out of Turtle Bay. Over on the west side there were tracks out in front of restaurant, guessing from yesterday from people fishing. Big crowd at the guardrail by the dam, looked like a beautiful afternoon to be out. Hopefully don't get that much snow tomorrow. Be careful.

Does anyone fish causeway area or south of it?  Just curious, I never have and was wondering if others have and how they’ve done? Thanks

We had 5” in most spots. One spot with 3 but all good solid ice. Fishing was incredibly slow yesterday.

I know it’s a long shot but I was in a rush getting off the ice Wednesday (2/3) and left my black spud bar and rigid drill with black auger stuck in the snow bank next to the guard rail on the north end. If anyone has any information regarding these items please pass it forward. 315-406-3493 thanks
Everything in the past is a blurr….except the fishing. That’s still clear as black ice

Going after tigers Friday for 1st time on Otisco.  From the research I have done you can access at the County Park which is considered the "main lake" versus along the road inside the Narrows.  Is one better than the other?  Any info that anyone wants to give up would be appreciated, feel free to send me a PM if you prefer.

Also do guys use suckers on tip-ups or just stick with big shiners?

Thanks in advance.

I’m hoping to try off of the park tomorrow for something with teeth, any pointers? Might also try the north end for a little bit.

Making our annual trip to otisco tomorrow. Looking forward to it since we didn't get out there last season. We will be south of the park in amber. Going out from private access. Usually we do ok on tigers and perch. Will post tomorrow's outcome. Hopefully it's a good one

Fished by the dam today.  Slooow ..... few bluegill and perch all dinks.  Had an array of tipups out for tigers and didn’t move a single flag.  8-10” of ice, solid on top but there had definitely been a lot of slush that froze.

Fished main lake from around 1-5
With tipups rigged for tigers
One flag tripped around 4
Got and hit and run from a tiger
No fish for the day
Good to be out there though
Chilly!
