jiffy replacement parts

My buddy was given a model 30 10" for free in excellent shape, the guy through it out because the auger would not engage. We tore the clutch and gear assem down. many teeth were shorn off the main gear. Anyone know of any shops online that sell replacement parts besides jiffy on ice. Im trying to save a few bucks rather then gettin ripped at a local shop.

You can try www.partstree.com for engine parts. I'm not sure if they'll have tranny/clutch parts for that engine, though.

Did you at least just contact Jiffy to get a price on a replacement gear?

Ya I did. $59 for the gear,from jiffy. I completely forgot about partstree, thats about the only place that had parts for my chainsaws
