I know its late in the season, anyone have a sled for sale? Or know of a place that has one in stock...The only place I found online that has them in stock is KTP and fish307...but the shipping is ~~$30 extra...plus I would like to support the local guy...

Give Klems in Spencer a call.

I haven't been there in a couple of weeks, but last time I was there, they had some.

Also, they are showing them available on their website.

Depending on what size sled you want, Home depot has cement mixing plastic sleds. They are great, even include a molded in ruler on the side. Only cost $10 cannot beat that. They are the same length at the jet sled jr and a bit wider. good luck.

I was looking at the Jet Sled...nothing special, just something to hold all the gear...will the cement mixing sled work just as good?

I bought my sled at Dick's sporting goods in Natick.  It is a kid's tobaggon (sp?).  It's 66" long and wide enough to fit a 5 gallon bucket with a little space on each side.  I can fit my hand auger, folding chair, 1 bucket, my stove, and a cooler holding my shiners.

I think it was $40.  Has a tow rope too.

Yes the Home Depot tub works great. I actually also use it to tow behind my snowmobile about a mile into a camp up in Maine. No prob. with it yet. And for $10 you cannot beat it. They are stored in the outdoor area next to the cement.
