ATV laws NH - Helmet required?

Are you required to wear or posses a helmet when operating an ATV in NH? As in, do I need to buy a helmet if I want to use my atv for ice fishing when towing a sled? How about for a passenger?

In NH, ATV operators under the age of 18 are required to wear helmet & eye protection -- for operators 18 and up, helmets & eye protection are recommended, but not required -- so, assuming you are 18 or older you don't have to purchase a helmet if you don't want to...!
