Mass ice fishing
« on: Dec 08, 2018, 03:39 PM »
My friend and I are 16 and we just started ice fishing last year and it was a great and successful season. We’ve fished salt and fresh since we were little and we decided we want to ice fish more. Our plan is to go out tomorrow. Does anyone know any places with safe ice? I know there’s some in central ma but that’s about it. We are in northeastern ma. We’re not looking for any specific spots because we hate spot burners ourselves, but some direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hood Pond in Topsfield only has 2” so its a no go... keep your eye on Rock Pond too both freeze early. I’m in Danvers and fish local ponds in Topsfield, Boxford, Georgetown etc. PM if you need any detailed info
