how do I add an image to a message? I tried to click image and I get (img) (img) with the curser in the middle. tried copy/paste but that does not work

I tried to load a picture yesterday with the Imagepost. It has worked for me in the past, but not yesterday.

i use imagepost windows app. it gives plenty of options. it's on their website. otherwise there is the "add image to post" option

this is in reference to "my Messages" like the PM's. mine does not have an option to add attachment other than the image icon as mentioned in the original post

its only for when posting to a new or an established thread. not for PM's. Id think that would be something Scott can turn on from his end?
Until that time, you still have to host your picture somewhere then grab the link and come back to your message and paste it in.

not really. attachments use iceshanty bandwidth. we want to keep the site free, right? that's why our images are hosted else where to keep bandwidth to a minimum cost here. i never see militia members use the perk and it doesn't need to be in place.

I used to be able to post pics with the "Add image to post" blue button, now it no longer works for me. I post from a laptop. Not sure what changed?

i never use that option so maybe it's broken. i use their windows app and it's free. you can also go old school until it's fixed by going to postimage and upload your image and then paste the link here.

Is the add image to post option for Militia members only? It used to work for me, but no longer.

Wouldn't work in a few browser's but does in Chrome so try other browsers or wait for them to be updated. I have 5 on my cell.
Only tried 1 of the 4 on my pc and it doesn't work with Tor Browser with the security I have it set up with. It would say can't upload images.
Anyway the post image plug in works, your browser choice may not be for now.

I much prefer their app on my pc.

Was going to post this in diy propane refill thread.

used the blue link we all have available to us.

You should still be able to send an image in a PM just by using the img tags, and the direct link to the image(the part that ends in .jpg). I'll PM your image to you to test.
