Helix 5 portable

I'm wondering what the best settings are for the traditional flasher view??
I'm fishing 8-20' depths roughly and having trouble with lots of clutter and seeing my lures!

Take it OUT of auto , put in manual & turn ON ice mode.

I never turn on ice mode - turning on ice mode takes way a lot of the manual settings - then again i never fish the circular flasher view lol ...
