Lower saranac lake ny

I camp for a week every year on the islands of lower saranac the fishing is great. I'd love to hear from people how it is on the hard water. Looking to make a trip up there this winter if I hear it's worth it. Thanks in advanced!!!

I also do a trip there very year. The smallmouth fishing is fantastic and I run into some big pike fishing for them. If never ice fished it but I would have to imagine the pile fishing could be good.

Any update on your ice fishing trip? I too camp on the lake during the summer and would like to ice fish it as well. Are snowmobiles allowed on the lake?
