Hopefully it will return for you soon! Same problem here, local lakes were capped, but with the recent 40*s temps, pockets have opened back up. 10 day forecast still looks a little warm.

Looks like a week or so a little see saw in temperatures...with the highs below average and the lows above average after that highs and lows below average till the end of the month...December looks ok at the end of the month.

If your looking for open water they still have the docks in at Raquette.
Lots of the smaller waters were froze pretty good but the big waters are open.....

I hope you have a thick keel guard!  Im going to hit LG Sat I think...since they were nice enough to let me launch last week.

Primarily interested In paradox or eagle for one last trip up there... only concern is the channel at paradox is frozen, limiting me only to the small upper lake or the launch area at eagle is frozen. Changed my trip to Tuesday. Weather is much better.

I didnt buy a tag, permit or get a wash(thats their process in the "boating season"). Just an inspection to ensure no envasives. Yes the smallies are hammering but were very deep.

40-70’ deep is the usual for there for better quality smallies. One of my partners just won a tournament there a few weeks back and got lunker which was just under 5lbs... they were already in 40-60 back then.

That’s cool they let you on now with minimal hassle. thsts something to keep in mind then once the smaller lakes lock up

I doubt the channel at paradox is froze.....it barely gets ice in the middle of winter when it's -20°F

There is a bit of ice nearby Logan.  If we didnt have rain Id probably be on some now.  Hope the fam is well.

I think the koi bite isnt until mid winter.  Weekend looks nice...problem being we keep getting calm days and then I end up taking the boat to LG.
