Not quite ice yet-
« on: Nov 13, 2017, 08:25 PM »
Went up gorgeous expanse of South Park with the Stick today.  Did OK my 1st 2 fish went 13lbs.  We ended up with 22 fish, missed another 20, I lost a beautiful Cutthroat at the shore.Normal sized trouts were 2.5 -3 lbs. We Got a couple at 4 lbs.

Big was 7.70 next was 5.30. Fun stuff.

Silver blade caught several.  As did a brown tube.

Wowser. That is some strong fishing. Somehow I thought that you didn't much care for the South Park offerings but that may just be the hardwater version. Well done.
We're born, we live for a while, and then we die.  Sounds like a good reason to go ice fishing.

I have fished 11-mile prolly 300 times. Maybe more. I just pick my windows of oppurtunity! ;)

Speaking as the guy that has prolly 300 skunks at 11-mile I can state that you flat out killed 'em. It's my home ice and I stick with it because sometimes the window opens as it did for you boys.
If you find my old fat frozen carcass out there about Christmas time you'll know I died trying.
