Put an arrow in one before the snow. Tracked it till  near 10 pm and lost the trail. Headed out at first light dang yotes found it first. Good thing I have second whitetail tag and mulie yet to go. Lots of animals around my acreage but with this cold and early snow could be a long one for them.

Do you have to tag it if the coyotes are it?

I shot on e a few years ago off and old river bed   watched him lay down and lift head every 10min   not the best shot.  Went back after 2hrs and his the whole eside up was pretty much gone.  I called local office  they said you can turn it in and get new tag.. was a pretty good one at 170 and a slow season so I told them I would keep it and thanks for the option.  No jerky or smokie meat but he sure look great on the wall

Saw more white tail then mulies when I was hunting for mulies down in 23 this weekend, and that only lasted for 3 hours before we had our 3 mulies in the back of the truck and were done for the year. Much more snow though, and a guy wont be getting out anywhere to get one down there.

Some good antler growth this year, I hope the deer are on the rebound. I know of an archery mule deer that nets over 200 typical inches taken this fall

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and at the end of the day that's all it is. Just one man's opinion....

Hope everyone has a successful and safe ice season and hunting season!

Thats for sure, didn't get out much this year at all but all the bucks I've seen so far has been pretty damn decent. The low snow the last few years really helped them out, hopefully some good years to come.
well if you were me then i'd be you and i really wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about...

Happened fast and wife doesn't hunt but the way she described it sounds like a 4x4. Just got the estimate today $10500 damage 3-4 week repair with waiting on parts. Can't find it in ditch must have limped
off. Wife and daughter are fine. A little frazzled that night.

doesn't take much to rack up some damage  good that all are ok.  insurance can take care of the rest
