Not bad.  Future batteries would be my only concern. What voltage is it? Maybe if you couldn’t find original batteries, you could rig on some new ones. Also, how many holes do you drill per season? Personally I would probably look into a drill set up so that when the motor or batteries go bad you still have an auger that you can use by getting a new  drill.  At that price, you could probably use it for several seasons and sell it and maybe even make a little money.

If you have a wheel house, it would be fine. For running and gunning, not so much. Might be worth offering $75 for.

Battery is in the square box next to the motor. Runs off a flasher type battery.

Trying to decide between this or a drill attached to my 7" lazer. About the same price to get a new Rigid drill.

Reason the guy is dumping it.....a drill setup on a 6,7, or 8in auger is extremely good.

Not only that but the Electra is a POS....

I've seen those older electric Strikemasters.  They turn REALLY slow.  Better than a hand auger but not by much....

Yep heavy, slow, and out dated. Strikemaster had a sale on them a few weeks ago and a new one could have been had for $175. I think they are cleaning out inventory of it since the new electric drills are heads and shoulders better.
