I bought it off Amazon, and bought a used reciever off Amazon.

Still thinking about picking up some glow sleeves.... the black ones I have are too dark. How will they glow?

The ones I picked up for the fish hole buddy are just a normal white, and have a soft blue hue type glow. They just charge durring the day or from hole lights shinning on them. What was nice the few times I did get out last year was when a guy got up to use the bathroom. The holes were glowing so you could walk right down the center of the shack without stepping in any of the holes.

Same ones I just bought... just didn’t know if they would quit glowing 2 min after the lights went out or if they lasted awhile

If you have to next spring spray them with "crylon glowz" glow in the dark paint.. I think it's retails for like $3 a can at walmart and other hardware stores..

Well an update on my Ice Castle.

This summer I noticed two cracks above my door.

I contacted pat at ice castle. They stood behind it and fixed it free of charge and also did some reinforcements to it so that it doesn't happen again.

Since its up there he is also mounting my microwave permanently above my minifridge. They are also going to mount my tv and dish receiver permanently in the shack so I don't have to take them up and down when driving down the road.....did it all for $150.

All I can say is great service and nice guys to work with.....an wow are they busy.

Little update. This winter after getting the cracks above the door fixed last fall the door frame cracked out, and the door wouldn't close tight. I talked with ice castle this early spring and finally got it dropped off. They are going to fix it, without any hassle. Just wanted to let people know the customer service has been great.

That's a DANDY!

If I had the ice, I'd have one.  We don't get the ice down here in Madison, WI for those heavy suckers.
What's the weight on yours?

I've gone out on 16in of ice with my entire rig before up north where they plow and check the roads. However, if I'm around home in NW Iowa I'll start pulling just the shack out with a 4wheeler/dolly on good solid 14in of ice and do that till it gets to about 18in just to be safe.

Curb weight is about 5300 on the truck, not sure on my shack I should weigh it. I'm guessing with the shack loaded with all the stuff it's about 5500lbs. Then figure two 250lb guys......gets ya pretty close to 11360.

Not surprised it cracked the way it did. They didn't radius the corner cut around the door. This is common with aluminum skins (especially in aircraft) if its a square corner because its a huge stress riser.  If it ever cracks again just stop drill the crack and fill with silicone if they won't replace it.

Got my shack back. Ice castle put a new door frame in no charge and did a great job. Top notch service.

I also had them replace the cables & put a nice decal on the inside of my door.

Charged me. $115 for the decal install and the cables. Thought that was reasonable.
