I iced 29 rainbows today. All C&R. Beautiful lake but fish taste muddy. But the muddiness doesn't take away from the length for the tourney. I won't be going back till I get the 2006 tourney card.

I forget how long they were ;)2  ;D) but I'll let you guess as that is an 8 inch hole. They are all different fish. Didn't get pics of my biggest. Trophy lake for sure.

Thanks Bassboy.
Ruby set with a small dropper hook rigged with a mountain pine beetle.

Bite king: Time will tell. 1.5 inches is what Russians use so yes I agree with you....Grump will come out with a bigger hole this year :woot: :woot:

Ok... so the hole is 8 inches... times the length of the fish... divided by the square root of.... minus the amount of beer drank...

=  big bow's

Great looking rainbows Terry. That clear ice is so cool, man you can seen them before they even get to the hole. 8)
A mountain pine beetle eh? interesting bait.
Do you have a collection of live beetles or do you use dead ones?

Excellent day you had Terry!  Thanks for the pic's, I'm a sucker for big bows and those were some dandy's you iced.  38" rainbow is a true stud :o don't know if I've even heard of on that big being iced up here-just open water.  Are they the Kamloops strain?

Ruby set jig, thats a new one for me-who makes them and was it the jig in the mouth of that last bow?

Nice pics TGF. A little far for me to drive though. Dad and I will cover the northern bases. Should try a local lake here when you come up this way. Take the kids out and have a ball.

Not sure if they are the Kamloops strain Grizz. Locals have referred to some fish in there as duploids (spelling) and can grow up to 5 lbs a year. I think Gibbs makes the "Ruby Set". No the spoon was not in the mouth of last fish. I leaned over to release it and I didn't get my hook out of the way fast enough. Hooked right in the nose....oooops ;D

Rolf: Look forward to seeing the family. Fishing with them sounds good ;D See you on Saturday.

Yes I know where that is for sure. Great C&R lake. I think it used to have sewer/septic tank problems around lake. Don't think I would eat a fish from there.
Nice pics again lad.
