Found a lake North of the Metro here in Minnesota that had 4-5" of ice. Dragged my gear out and caught few bluegills to start off the season. Tungsten jig tipped with a trigger x plastic did the trick to bring some gills topside. Bring on the cold weather ahead. Be safe everyone and goodluck this season.
