Bartman, that's half the fun of tip-up fishing...getting to the flag first!!  Kicking the other guys legs out if they get a few steps on you always slows them down.  Sounds like you've already seen that before.  Good luck with that one.  Try putting them on different sides of the lake.   

Yes, maybe I should put them on different lakes.   I'm either going with the own your own tip-up routine or Tip-up Power Ball Quick Draw. (or maybe I'll just take all the flags - I think it's my turn )

the first one to the flag wins. That is the best thing for them

My boys at a rare tip-up peaceful moment. They usually are beating each other up over the flag. I've come up with many plans to divide up the daily flags between them but I have yet to find the perfect solution. The every other flag (or fish) thing doesn't work.   

Got any suggestions?
