Here's a tip..if you are going to have a permanent shack have a snowmobile, quad, or put it where you know you can drive to it. I took my shack home today to avoid the worry of doing so after the snow due here Monday. I took advantage of the recent freeze up and pushed it off the lake alone and by hand (until near shore I had to hook a long rope to it from the truck in the parking lot and pull it across the rough snowmobile ruts). Truth is I have had it with the lake it was on, but even if I hadn't I would have removed it to avoid having to drag someone else into getting it for me in a couple weeks. I need a snowmobile AND a portable shelter...maybe someday...Dear Santa...
