Camera use on Cascade
« on: Feb 04, 2019, 10:39 AM »
Has anyone had success using underwater cameras to fish perch on Cascade? Is the water too deep or does it lack the clarity to make them useful there? Thanks for any info

I have a cheap camera, and have not been able to see much worthwhile. My display is not bright enough to see in the daylight, and I have not tried setting up my tent to see if it is better.

I have a Marcum 825- fishing in 25ft it has helped- you have to be in a shelter- not as good as I hoped- but fun to watch the perch - seemed to be more current - that could have an effect- I've learned shallower water to be better viewing- also hanging the camera straight down is better in poor conditions- plus the grandkids love it!!

I tried mine a couple weeks ago and it was pretty cloudy water. I saw a few fish, but it was not the best, so I gave it up pretty quick.
