Thank you. :)
Yes, my sled is ski-doo Tundra LT 600ACE (left of pic) that is remodeling the seat etc. There was a ski - doo dealer nearby, it was the cheapest and I can carry lots of luggage, so I bought it. We can also purchase Ski-doo, Polaris, ArcticCat and Yamaha even in Japan. I like it, but it is tippy, because the ski stance is narrow. For ice fishing, I think Expedition sport on the right is more convenient than TundraLT .

I went smelt fishing. Today's catch was 210. Weather was so fine and warm, so I took a nap on my sled.

Niru, please explain the red, silver and blue devices on the side of the container you put your catch into.

It's tool of removing smelt. If I pull it up from below, it will catch off. Material is pencil sack and clip. It is commercially available in Japan. In Japan, as the number of fished smelt is emphasized, there are a lot of people using it.

Here’s a video of that type of setup in action. I’m not a fan of preparing and cooking fish when they are alive, but can’t deny how fresh that is.

That's right. This is exactly the standard Japanese ice fishing, how to eat smelt. Maybe it is a picture of the river where is in Hokkaido. However, recently I grill smelt and eat it.

I hear one way to catch smelt is with a cotton ball. Their teeth get stuck in cotton and pull them up. Not sure if this is a Buffalo think or not. I haven't tried it before.

your tundra may seem tippy, but if you ever have to travel through 3ft of powder soft snow you will be glad of it, because it allows the snowmobile to float above the snow and not bog down and get stuck :-). I have the same model in the 550fan and love it. Love seeing how you fish over there and the different fishing gadgets on the other side of the pond. :-)
Its all fun and games until someone loses a walleye.......

I am happy to have comments from person who have the same model. I like Tundra and I am having fun with various optional parts.
Recently, I attached Garmin 's fish finder to the handle, so it was easy to go to the fishing point and to search it.

Great pictures. Very interesting how you fish over there. A lot of the gear looks so different than what we use here.

Just curious niru what is your career?

Thank you. :)

My carrier is Jaws of Ice Auger Carrier Mount. I am very pleased that Auger has been successfully set.
I showed it to a fishing friend, so he liked it and also ordered it.
And I'm using Jet Sled Jr for loading luggage. It's solid, so I like it very much.

Ahaha, I can't be like Indiana Jones. They’re ancient villages, sites of iron making etc. When I found a good condition pottery that was made thousands of years ago, I had been impressed.
Pic is a rod case made with a water pipe. I am saved because it is painful to thread through the line to rod tip guide.

I went ice fishing on Sunday and Monday for 2 days. Catch was 100 and 120 smelt. It was very cold, but American insulation shelter was comfortable. I love it.
Smelt made "Nanban-zuke" a dish. It’s so tasty.
