Leaning towards the helix 7. Looking for opinions between the two. Also how well does it fish next to other units.

The Helix's are really accurate. I like to use the zoom mode and you can really see the jig and fish movement in deeper water. The IR or interference rejection settings will let you fish next to anything with a jumbled up screen, though you may to change your sensitivity settings, or gain. I haven't ever used the flasher mode since i'm used to the graph. I also have a navionics card in it, which stores my waypoints and builds a map of lakes i have fished that aren't on the map chart.

I like the Helix, because of maps.

Both are good units but I prefer the helix because of the maps and it is a better multitasker ,  I use in the boat and mark way points for ice fishing.
