Just wondering who uses live bait on Conesus Lake ?
This live bait thing could put a cramp on some of your fishing if you do .
I haven't heard if Art is going to be selling anything this season but I only live a few minutes from him so as soon as I can catch up to him I'll find out and let everyone know .

I hope the VHS doesn't put a crimp on the bait. I use the biggest shiners and suckers I can find. Art usually has the best. Some day I hope to get one of the 20lb plus pike Conesus if famous for.

I haven't hit the twenty pound range but i have gotten them well over ten .
In fact I was the winner of the pike category in the very last Lions derby on Conesus .
My luck has always been on smelt for the big pike in that lake . The live bait never seems to do as well for me on Conesus .

Ditto here! I tend to use the perch minnows or fatheads when he has them. I run tip downs 90% of the time . catch occasional perch but the bass seem to like'm small!
