With all the newcomers coming aboard I'm feeling old to the shanty. I just want the new members to feel free to ask their questions, there are alot of us that will be more than glad to help if we can.

It's all a big family and a great group of guys and gals coming together to help and share some great info and knowledge about ICE FISHING.  ;D Congrates to all, new and old, and the really old farts here toooo. It's what makes this site so great.

Yeah, hard to believe that I'm only 20, and I've been a moderator here for 3 years!  :D Fourth year overall on the website, so I guess you could consider me a regular...  ;) I registered January 2003, and wow have I ever learned a lot here!  I'm honestly at the point where I don't know what I'd do without these great websites.  If I'm home and I'm online, I'm on IceShanty (or MyFishFinder, depending on the season) 99.9% of the time.  I'm always willing to help out anyone, whether you're new to the shanty, or just another "old" regular like us... :)

You could call me the 50 Year Old Rookie.
I CAN clean fish.  My wife, on the other hand, prides herself in the art of filleting fish.  I mean to tell you, she can fillet ANYTHING, therefore I call myself "The Lucky Man."

I think he got a promotion at his place of business and is working long hours or something. I did hear though that he is still fishing alot so that's good.

Every new season feels brand new to me.

If I meet as many new people as I have since I started (Jan 03) we'll have to rent a bus for every trip :o. I might even have a little more venison to cook on the ice this year too ;).

Been on IS since 2003. I've met people on this site who have become close fishing and golfing friends. It's a great site and I keep learning all the time. Thanks to all who so willingly share tips and information. That's what makes this site great. Bring on the ice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
