Crystal was just starting to form ice along the western shore when I was up there Sunday.

Hi Guys, I live on Crystal lake...fully locked for 2 days. Two and a half inches this morning at the boat ramp. I live near the beach, going out tomorrow in the morning hoping for 4 inches. I will keep everyone updated.

I'm not going to get all preachy either, but be very careful with Crystal right now. jss is spot on. The place has it's thin spots from bubblers and springs. If we get snow Saturday, you may not see the wet spots. The fish aren't going anywhere.
I'm a few minutes from Crystal, but will be on the Winch Saturday if the weather isn't bad for driving.
