I've always used a snowmobile for ice fishing, but got a working 2008 Baja Wilderness Trail 400 with 4x4 for my non working snowmobile. It only has 400 miles on it. I tried searching, but does anyone use them for ice fishing? Don't know much about the brand but looks like it's some kind of knock off from Honda ATV's?

Are you asking about the Baja Wilderness Trail specifically, or 4-wheelers in general?
-
the wilderness Trail specifically, not much out there for reviews in general and the little i've found tend to be pretty negative. Thanks for helping me clarify

its a Chinese knock off - keep it running and you should have no problems getting around on the ice. Add some chains as needed

That brand I dont have experience with. I do have experience with kids atv's that are chinese knock offs and they dont hold up well at all. My advice is save your money and put it towards a Honda. A used honda will hold up for a long time. I have a Honda rancher I bought used and it still runs great. I have owned it for roughly 9 years and the machine is a 2008.

thanks for the replies, that's been the feedback I've read online. They don't hold up well. may just use the snowmobile I have now and sell the wheeler.

if it runs i'd use it....no reason not too. Resale sucks on them

True, I also didn't pay anything for it either. Don't want to get stuck out on the ice with a crappy wheeler! I'll play around with it in the fall. Any suggestions on where I should look for tires?

amazon....kenda bear claws are pretty decent along with ITP mud lites. Both are reasonably priced

great, thank you
