Nice lakers...gotta love those pressure ridges. Being that I am still a padawan on the ice I had no idea that with in the span of a few hours one of those ridges can change drastically ??? Last weekend I had one expand about 2 feet on me  :-\

PGKris - if you knew how many lakers can be caught jigging in one day by one person on lake george, you would already be here. ;)

Lake George is the most beautiful lake in the world, not kidding either.
It is in Northern New York, right in the middle of the Adirondack Mountains. It is a great fishery, salmon, lakers, pike, bass, perch, and panfish are all really common. It is really diverse, going from 20 foot weedbeds to 200 foot trenches and back again. It is a glacial lake, very clear ( you can see over 35 feet up in Hague) and it is one of the greatest tourist regions in the NorthEast. On a good day a we've got over a dozen legal sized lakers in just a few hours, it's really amazing. ;D

I have a couple of Labrador Retrievers that can find fish as good as any Vex. All you have to do is drill a hole and they will bark if they detect fish..... one bark per fish. One  hell of a breed, you can teach them to do almost anything. Here's a couple of young ones in training.

lakers a great fish to catch, although i have never landed any through the ice. only open water

Do the leaves of trees stay greener, in the autumn, does the colour of the sun, turn crimson white? Does a shadow come between us, in the winter?

Even though your lakers do behave oddly they are some good fish. Thanks for posting!
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.
