The ice at Wilsons was pretty firm when I checked it this morning. I think it will be good tomorrow morning. Hope to get out there myself.

Planning on going there tomorrow, with my 86yr old Dad. Any ice condition reports would be greatly appreciated.

I made an error in judgement a couple weeks ago after that warm run. I started a bath reno for my downstairs bath. The error in Judgement was I promised "The Boss" it would be done by this weekend. I was all but sure we would not the get the cold spell we did last week. Missed the chance to get out. Looks like I'm done for this season. Happy hunting till ice out guys. Waterman had fishermen last weekend. This weekend will be dodgy!!! CAREFUL ALL!

I lost a freezer recently with home made kielbasa, sausage, venison, fluke, etc. etc.... Trying to re-up again so I can stay away from the markets and all of the darn antibiotics they are using these days. Now, even wild food needs to be used in moderation depending on where it comes from but I rather take my chances with that. It also helps that my 2 year old loves fish and everything else I harvest. almost time to whip out the rods for Togs and trout.

RGBIII,

Had to work today, otherwise would've joined you. Thinking maybe tomorrow, if conditions are still ok.
Any chance of a report after getting off the ice?

I am no debbie downer but tomorrow will be the last day in RI unfortunately. Check as you go but get out if you can. That rain is coming followed by some strong wind with no refreeze. Good luck to who ever ventures out.

Ice was getting sketchy as the Sun warmed everything up.  I got off earlier than I was planning...Just in case.  I had 4-5 inches when I got off around 10:30 A.M.

Check as you go.
