a little trick for grabbing pickerel/Pike/Muski.....you can grab them by the skull at the eye sockets.  Real easy and you have great control of the fish while removing hooks...

i hate pickrel they are so boring id rather catch no fish than chase those rats.

Yeah,yah. We're tryin'. Can't seem to find anything other than pickerel so far this year. Got 2 trout, 1 perch, and a couple of bass and the rest is all picks. I think I'm either in for a big pike soon or I'm screwed this season. Maybe I'll do better filming when the spring and summer come around. I do a lot of striper fishing from March to September.
