any body use rosie reds lately came across 5 dozen was hopin to see if the jumbos would tear them up any comments

You are lucky. I have a hard time finding them now. Best trout bait there is in my book.

You are lucky. I have a hard time finding them now. Best trout bait there is in my book.
a local aquarium shop ordered for me you might get one up your way to get them for you

I have a pond filled with gold fish. A family member threw some in YEARS ago. Now there are 1000's!!!!! On a good day you can see balls of them swimming around. Do they really make good bait?

real gold fish are illegal to possess in pa rosie reds are a hybrid fat head minnow i see them more orange  @) did get bigger size some will go on a tipup others jiggy bait

might want to check your regs on it first.   Where I'm at I can only use certain species of minnows for bait.   I don't know how well they would like it if I was using the rosy reds for bait even though they are just fatheads.   A little pricey for just bait if you ask me.  Cheaper just to catch your own.
