Help
« on: Jun 02, 2022, 07:29 PM »
I am taking a trip for my 5th anniversary with the wife the week of october 10th to Boothbay Harbor. I have never fished the ocean and was wondering if anyone is familiar with the area and would be willing to give me some recommendations on places and lures/baits to use.

If its within your budget, I strongly recommend a fishing charter.

This is a fishing booking site just for Boothbay, which works similarly to a hotel booking site:
https://fishingbooker.com/destinations/location/us/ME/boothbay?dest_title=Fishing%20Charters&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0ajHmvmW-AIVDabICh3G7ggAEAAYASAAEgIox_D_BwE

Happy anniversary and enjoy your trip!

Bst of luck all

Newagen Town Landing -diamond jig, epoxy jig etc for mackerel. Pemaquid lighthouse for jigging. Not too late for stripers so also check out Reid or Popham State Parks. Toss out some swimming plugs like Daiwa SP minnow etc.
