The lake has ice all over it,I didn't see any open spot.I would drill a hole for you but I think I will pass on that one :-\.The lake wont take much to freeze up for good ice.Hopfully it will be good in a few weeks for the night bite!!!!! :flex: :flex:

As of this morning Sat 4th the edges where openand there's water up to the pavilion
at bullhead point, ice seems to be afloat, the whole lake is covered with ice ,but best bet it's NOT SAFE ! if you could find a way on.
As Machinist , I too am looking forward to the nite bite.
Well thats all i got for know can only hope for cold before snow.
Later

Has anyone checked the ice lately.  I drove by and saw ice on it but did not check the thickness.

The wind opened up the lake from north bay to where the plane are parked in the summer.I think that if the wind dies down we will be good for a few weeks but if the wind doesn't quit the it will be tough to get a good layer of ice for the year.I for one cant wait till we can get out there to ice some cali's at night.

IVe been checking it daily, the ice is about 3 inches of black ice on the west side behind the highschool.... stay away from the north bay end..
