I've fished the lakes near Camp 7 area with some success. Most notably Banana Lake. I've spent time on cranberry lake, bear lake, camp 7 and found Banana to be the only one worthwhile. If you do hit Bear lake be aware that the ice is pretty crappy.

We would use tear drops with a perch minnow, set 3 feet below the ice. The bite would run from 8 am to 10 am, and that was it. Anything after the middle of january was pretty poor as well. I don't know if banana is stocked any more, if it is you'll do well. We caught most of our fish within the cove near the launch, we never caught anything where the lake widened out. Remember to bring everything you need as the nearest store is going to be Lindas Bread Box outside of Manistique. The Thunder Lake Store used to make a mean sandwich but they are closed now unfortunately.

Good luck!
