Agreed... I only own fresh water boats so never even thought of naming one but yeah, why let someone else name your boat.

My current boat is “Galvanized Crab” with a evil crab logo. It was named by the previous owner who named it after his wife. Having know them both for many years, I kept it as a tribute.

I love the suggestions and its fun to read them all. In all honesty I'm probably going to name it after my wife or a combination of my daughter's names. It's an Australian Tinny so I may call her the Tin Lady. Other names that have come to mind are Bass Solo, Togue Tickler, Fish Fingers, Salvelinus Seeker. Im gonna spend some time with this and make sure I get it right.
