yep gotta agree with you there...I even up it one and do the same for each species...1st Pike, 1st Perch, 1st Gill, 1st eye...but the seasons overall first is the most important

I dont tell them, dad and i head out for first ice and he wont go on 2" so i go back to the lake the next day and he tells mom that i cant be his blood son b/c im out fishing on 2" of ice!

I can just about imagine how well that convo went with ur mother!  Pry about as well as the one i had with my mom trying to explain why the Girls Gone Wild DVD showed up on our doorstep!!!!
