i've been tapping kegs since 1977! ;D

Hey man, you might have to show me how it is done again. It has been a while since I have tapped a keg. I think it was back in '05 when I did it last......I wonder if I can still stand on my head?

Your shack is nice and the lift system is the way to. A friend of mine put the hydraulics on his shack, what a back saver!!!

Ya! I know. Actually I made some cylinder mount yesterday and gave her a test run with the pump and battery laying on the ground. Found out I need to relocate the mounts, but the darn thing worked.
See!

Mud and Fun,

That is impressive. You obviously work with all these products and have a great knowhow. I have been following the thread and admit, I didn't see where you were going. Seeing that shack up in the air is amazing. I am wondering though, are you going to take the shack off the ice every day, or is this a perm. type shelter? I worry about the shack sticking to the ice and you blowing a gasket trying to get her up in the air. what is the weight max on those hydrolics, I don't really know much about them.

Mike

This shanty is meant to be uloaded and loaded daily. The shanty will be loded on the trailer, thanks to a winch, with the tongue facing the rear. Pull the quad up to it, hook up and pull it off. Everything will already be inside be inside. No loading and unloading equipment.
Each hydralic cylinder will lift 1200lbs. Fully loaded the sahnty may top out at 600lbs or so.
and as to the skiis I still need to put in the cross braces which will tie both together to eliminate any chance of foldin over, how ever I built them with such tight tolerences I dont think they could.

Thank guys.

Got a little more work done.
Here's the ceiling which now need paint.

Some door holders. So they just don't flip over to the other side on a fisherman.

And a little accent. Left overs from doing my sons room 2 years ago.

Next it's time to get back to the hydralics.
