I have a room at the Baytop for the Derby.  I'll be putting the shanty on Paugus, but I've never fished it through the ice, and rarely on open water.
Can anyone give me some pointers on where there might be some structure, or a channel.  Shallow sandy areas?  The winning tagged rainbow location. ;)  etc...

I never fished it but I find google earth to be a great way to see sand bars etc. when you zoom in.

just outside of the weirs channel is good fishing once the ice forms it's sandy and not to deep I live just up the road in lakeport use to go out from the burger king got a few hits am trying winnisquam this year
