Lake Elmo, first winter after stocking
« on: Dec 06, 2022, 12:57 PM »
Been in the shadows on Ice Shanty for a few years now but never made a post, so I thought I'd ask what anyone's consensus is on fishing Lake Elmo this season after it was drained and restocked this summer? I work "really" close to Lake Elmo....to the point I can look out the window and see if anyone's fishing it (locals, you can narrow in where I work haha) but I haven't seen anyone pull a fish out yet. Thoughts on what to expect a winter after stocking?

Weird no one else has posted about Elmo yet. People been out fishing it? Haven't driven by it in a few weeks. Was on castle rock today, long drive for dinky pike.

How many inches of ice were on Castlerock? I was thinking of heading out there on Monday.
