Guided trips on Clark Canyon
« on: Nov 14, 2022, 03:40 PM »
News to me today. Frontier Anglers in Dillon is offering guided ice fishing trips on Clark Canyon.

Not that it really affects me but also not real thrilled about more lines in the water

Targeting & trying to cash in on all the rich "others" (haha) that think MT is their playground.

Yep, bad enough they've pretty well ruined all the rivers, now gonna start on the lakes.

I should add that many fly shops fish Clark Canyon in the summer when they shut down the rivers. They aren't required to have a user days or follow non-resident/guided closures like they are on the rivers so I would expect user days to increase as the rivers become less predictable and slow/stop producing big trout.
