help with rebuilding ice traps

I have several ice traps that I want to rebuild. I have 1/4" wide spring steel where can I find the staples to attach the flag steel to the vertical stick?

They look like the stainless steel staples that shoot from my crown moulding nailer. HD or any other big box store should have em in stock.

The Crown molding nailer will give you a factory neat attachment.  Trying to hammer them in is a lost cause.
