If a person subscribes to in-fisherman, does the icefishing guide come with the subscription or does it have to be purchased separately? ???

Yes. Last year I picked one up at a Border's. If you have a Gander Mountain near you, they usually carry them also.

I'm going to get me a copy as well,,,just to see what new gear is going to be available for this upcoming season.   As for the articles.,,,, I could care less.   I've been subscribing to the In-Fishermen and the Walleye Insider for years and I find that most of the published articles in the guide are reprints from previous issues of the regular magazine.  Kind of annoying to read same stuff  twice.  Pictures are pretty though and it gets me exited about the new season,  so I guess it's worth the money.

I ordered last Friday and received it yesterday in the mail. A lot of Lowrance stuff and a Nature Vision Aqua View DVD in there. I read the articles and threw it on top of my collection.  Liked the ventilator Angel Eyes from JB and ordered a couple today along with about $40 worth of stuff I did not need. ::)

I have Nature Vision sending me their latest DVD in the mail right now, turns out it's probably the same one I just got in the mag, haven't watched it yet tho... if it's anything like anything else that is IceTeam related they'll be shoving everything from Vexilar to Arctic Cat to Lindy to Christian Brothers Brandy down your throat... oh yeah, StrikeMaster augers too  >:(

I never really idolized Ice Team, but rather admired the way they have moderized ice fishing. :D Portable is the way to go ;)

You bet, thats where I got the "run and gun" mentality too. It is just depressing to know these people are not objective, its all about the $$$$$. I guess I cant blame Dave Genz though, if someone gave me fee gear and then paid me to fish with it I would not object. I guess he has to make a living, and it sure beats work. ;)

I just watched the Nature Vision DVD, its put together rather well. It is admirable of them to put there stuff out there for all to see. It is nice to see products in use, instead of a sales pitch in a magazine.
