Scheels has the new garmin livescope plus bundle for $500 off their website. Ordered it yesterday. Was gonna wait until Black Friday and possibly St. Paul ice show but figured they wouldn’t have a deal better than this with it being new. Now that I’ve ordered it there probably will be a better deal lol.

Scheels does price match ...I believe its a two week window . I cant seem to find that on their website though . Being Black Friday is in that two week window you should be fine...if a Black Friday ad drops with your item at a lower price I would contact ASAP . If you have a concern you can use the chat function on their site ..the chat function worked for me last season on a Eskimo Sierra thermal purchase price match ...they priced matched Runnings ..even though Runnings was pick up only ...plus the Scheels Sierra was an exclusive which came with extras .. a cover and a battery tray...so that took some sting out of the shipping cost for me.

Yes, Ridgid is a brand you can get at Home Depot, as well as Direct Tools and Ebay, among others. I started with them when they had a lifetime warranty, back in the NiCad battery days, and have gotten my money's worth out of that for sure!. I just read their current warranty statement, and it sounds like you are getting less than forever coverage, since they talk about how an old tool with wear visble is rarely a defect. They no longer cover anything and everything. I have switched to Ryobi, which is in general cheaper, have more different tools, and if there is a manufacturing defect found early, I assume Home Depot or Ryobi would cover that as well.

I have a 700 in-lb Ridgid drill, that was fine for my 4.5 Nils and 5 inch Lazer, and picked up a 1300 in-lb Octane drill that turns even my 8 inch Mora. If you do get the Octane, you will need a big battery, as big as you can find, to pair with it. If you have Ridgid stuff, get an Octane drill and dedicate it to ice fishing. Remove the chuck and hard mount the auger bit with an adapter from HHOgenerators on EBAY. I use mine with a 6 inch pistol bit, and it is a great setup.

Badger - I have hammer drill with under 600 in-lbs, have been using this on a 6" and 7" mora. I mounted it on a clam plate back when we had to remove the chuck. I doubt that I'd be able to remove it today.
