I really can use some help on a Teho 3 rod/reel

Anyone use these?  I am still trying to figure out how to use one of them for an inline

I don't get the concept of how it would be effienct at pan fish. The number wheel I do t get either

I think the number wheel has something to do with indicating lure depth. They look like rod in this bid right?

It's just a jigging stick.  The purpose/advantage of the large inline reel is to reduce kinks and twists in the line.  They have been around for a looooong time, before flashers even.  The counter is so that you can return to depth for suspended fish.  For panfish just use the rod to set the hook and then handline them in.  No need to worry about the counter.  Use a braided dacron line with a mono leader to the jig.  There is not much by way of a drag system on those things.

I have one i have used for years.  Not the most sensitive, but it works all the time and the line pick up is good.  Also, I like the wood handle when super cold.
